Discover and expand your unique movement language through purpose-driven dance training.
Adult-centered training that prioritizes individuality, leadership, and longevity, not just performance.

ROOTED, taught by movement artist Jae Ashanti, is an intermediate Afro-modern fusion class exploring movement that grows from grounded to expansive including turns and jumps. Rooted reminds us that faith is looking upward while also knowing where you’re planted and moving from that place of strength.

Our Mission

Graced Training Center (GTC) exists to help dancers discover, reclaim, and expand their unique movement language through purpose-driven training.
We provide access to intentional, adult dance training that prioritizes individuality, leadership, and artistic identity, not just performance. Serving dancers ages 15 and up in the greater Washington, D.C. area, GTC uses the elements of dance and technical foundations to develop confident movers, choreographers, and educators at every stage of their journey. Rooted in faith, grace, and excellence, we train artists to move with conviction, lead with clarity, and become who they were designed to be.

Liv (Founder) was a very welcoming, kind, and inclusive teacher. Her teaching style was focused but allowed room for dancer choice and style to come through. I believe she utilized the talents of each well, and allowed dancers to work within their level of comfort. She was clear with her choreographic intentions, and made sure to acknowledge all dancers so everyone was included.
